Casa Agüé proposes an architecture of horizontal typology which opens with maximum amplitude to the frontal panoramic view and is built on pillars at the height of the crest of the trees, favored by the slope of the land. The construction is suspended between two larger stones where the tables serve to extend the house along its length, creating two outdoor deck spaces on each side and a covered distribution area. The roof works like a “feather” (Agüé in indigenous language), light between the trees with triangular modulation. The structure of the house, as well as the flooring are made of eucalyptus poles in a round shape or equipped with black protection. Locked glass and bamboo closures and walls finished with local earth and structure, complete a constructive and finishing materiality made 100% by suppliers within a maximum proximity of 50km (except thermoacoustic tiles), as well as the workmanship of the same Souza neighborhood, thus controlling the origin of the materials and emission of carbon in transport.
