MECA Festival, São Paulo, Brazil - 2015
In the middle of the XX century industrial landscape of the Brás neighborhood in Sao Paulo (Brazil), nature and lightness began to emerge.
Feel Yourself, is a multi-sensory installation created by Atelier Marko Brajovic for Meca Festival. The site specific artwork, ocupes one floor of deactivated instrucial building, and invites you to relax and look inside yourself promoting a meditative state of mind in inter-connection with plants . Approximately 1,200 plants from twenty different aromatic endemic species were installed into the room, organizing experience paths and clearances.
The installation presents the symbiosis of the relation of nature and city scape, as a dynamic balance of interaction. The smell, the colors and the touch of the plants are furthermore surrounded by the sound-scape composed by the musician Dudu Tsuda.
